A bit about us

Established in 2012

Our company started off as a father and son duo in our small town. Hope did not have a full-service shop for commercial transportation at the time and there was a dire need for it. Silver Skagit Mechanical was established.

Dusty grew up working on his dad's logging truck afterschool and on weekends. This is where his interest in being a Mechanic sparked. Dusty attended Thompson Rivers University in 2007 to begin is Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship and never looked back. In 2019 Dusty and his wife, Schaelyn, purchased the business and have been expanding and growing the company immensely each year.

Our team is made up of 11 key hardworking individuals and expands to 20 + seasonally when our water trucks are in full swing. Our Silver Skagit family is always expanding and we are dedicated to having fun along the way!

These amazing people saved my partner and I when driving across the country. Hauling a trailer across the country, we were on the highway and had our tire fall off and these amazing people were able to get us in and our truck repaired in a day. If it wasn't for them we would've had to wait over a week to even get into another shop. Saved us on the most stressful trip I've ever been on. I cannot recommend them enough.
